JamesI’ve been a Head of ICT & Business Studies at a large Secondary School  for three years and spent nine years as a teacher in total. During that time I have also been part of the Pastoral team working with Year 10 students, have been a PST, a Mentor to ITT Students and am now a Mentor to an NQT.  I was also a Staff Governor.

I have implemented new courses and led the change from an ICT department to a Computer Science department. This meant leading INSET, designing curriculum delivery, managing the department’s VLE, implementing centralised and classroom based tracking and monitoring systems, and coaching and mentoring staff to raise standards across the school.

Edubabble was started in 2013 and here you will find news stories, how-to articles, top fives (I tried top tens but often ran out) and reviews. You will find stories that challenge the status quo and stories that make you sit up and think. All of them will be written by experts in their field. We make no distinction between Meal Time Assistants and Head-teachers. If you are involved in working with children on a regular basis, then Edubabble is for you.

One of the most exciting things is that I’d like you to contribute to this site. If you find yourself contributing on message boards and forums and want a bigger platform to explore your ideas, then Edubabble is the place for you.

Just click on the Contact Link and drop us a line. I can’t wait to here from you!

We will get back in touch to find a way we can work together to bring your ideas to a wider audience.

The same goes for resources and advice. This is my promise to you.

I will never put our advice or resources behind any sort of paywall. You will never have to pay for anything you find on this site.

Take a look around. If you like what you see, tell your friends, if you don’t tell me.
